Retail Assistant - Seasonal Department - Stewarts Christchurch

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Retail Assistant to join our thriving Seasonal Department in Christchurch.

Working across Houseplants, Home & Lifestyle, Outdoor Living and our Christmas Department the successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional customer service and ensure a delightful shopping experience for our customers. This role also involves supporting our cashiers on the tills during busy periods and working behind the scenes, constructing and decorating our Grotto, Winter Wonderland and other decoration and display projects throughout the year.

Previous retail experience in a similar environment, a passion for houseplants, a commercial eye and creative merchandising skills are key to this role.

Please note that this is a permanent vacancy and some heavy lifting is involved.

Working an average of 18.25 hours per week applicants must be available to work;

Week 1

Wednesday and Thursday - 10am - 4pm

Saturday- 9am - 6pm

Sunday - 10am - 5pm

Week 2

Wednesday - 10am - 4pm

Thursday - 9am - 6pm
