Interior Landscaping Technician

At Stewarts we specialise in transforming commercial environments with vibrant interior plant displays and are currently seeking an enthusiastic, energetic and active Technician to join our dedicated team to help us maintain beautiful spaces for offices, hotels, showrooms, and other businesses.

The Role:

As an Interior Plant Technician, you will be the face of Stewarts, driving a company vehicle on a scheduled route across Dorset and Hampshire. This is a hands-on position, focused on providing professional, high-standard plant care to our valued clients.

Your daily tasks will include:

  • Plant Maintenance: Watering, cleaning, pruning, and tidying displays.
  • Plant Care: Replacing plants when necessary and topping up compost.
  • Logistics: Confidently organising your daily route and managing time efficiently.
  • Physical Work: Regularly handling watering cans and bags of compost. 
  • Team Support: Assisting with new installations, deliveries, and seasonal projects, including decorated Christmas trees.

What We Are Looking For:

We value a positive attitude and professional driving experience just as much as a "green thumb." While horticulture experience is a bonus, it is not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you have all the necessary skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • A full, clean UK driving licence.
  • A confident driver who can organise their time efficiently.
  • A flexible team player with a friendly, professional manner (you will be an ambassador for the company).
  • The ability to work independently and use your own initiative.
  • Physical fitness to manage the active nature of the role.
  • A flexible team player with excellent communication skills.

Hours & Pay:

  • Contract: Permanent, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.  7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (30-minute unpaid break). We offer flexibility, with occasional earlier starts/finishes.
  • Part-time: We are open to two permanent part-time arrangements (e.g. 16 hours and 24 hours per week).
  • Pay: £12.30 per hour (Contact us for specific rates if under 21).
