Elves! - Stewarts Wimborne

Here at Stewarts, we always plan well ahead to make each season the best ever for our customers, and when the season to be jolly comes.... well, we like to be jolly ready for it and we are excited to be reopening our Winter Wonderland once again this Christmas!

Most of our beloved Elves are returning from last year but we do have some exciting vacancies available at our Broomhill (Wimborne) grotto helping Father Christmas on Tuesdays and Fridays and providing lunch cover (Monday to Sunday).

As an Elf you will assist with the safe arrival and visit of children and their families to the Winter Wonderland. This role involves a variety of tasks including welcoming visitors, administering tickets, working inside the winter wonderland introducing children to Father Christmas, helping him with presents and making sure everyone enjoys a more than special visit.

Needless to say, it takes a very special person to do this.  We’re looking for someone who loves entertaining children, has excellent communication skills and who has a good deal of patience!!

If you have these qualities, a cheerful disposition and a love for all things Christmas then you are who we are looking for!!

Previous experience working with children and those with special educational needs is an advantage but not essential.

Elves are required at our Broomhill (Wimborne) Garden Centre from Saturday 22nd November to cover the following shifts up to and including Christmas eve;

Lunchtimes - 11.45am–2.15pm

Tuesdays and Fridays - 9am-6pm

Training, induction and grotto set up will take place prior to your start date.

Hourly pay rates:

16-17 years - £9.25

18-20 years - £10.50

21 years and over - £12.30
