About Us

At Stewarts, we’ve been growing since 1742, and we’re just as passionate today about plants, people, and creating inspiring spaces as we were when we started. As a proudly family-run business, we believe in doing things the right way: with care, creativity, and community at the heart of everything we do.

With three characterful garden centres across Dorset and Hampshire, a dedicated nursery, and a talented landscaping team, we offer a wide range of career opportunities, from horticulture and retail to marketing, administration, hospitality, and events.

We work hard during our seasonal peaks (think springtime planting and festive magic at Christmas), but there’s always time for laughter, shared lunches, and celebrating success. Whether you’re helping a customer find the perfect rose, designing a new marketing campaign, or baking scones in our café kitchen, you’ll find every day is a little different, and rewarding.
