Plantsman Gardener - Stewarts Landscaping

About the role:
We’re looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Plantsman Gardener to join our Landscaping team, caring for a range of beautiful private gardens and high-end commercial grounds across the local area. You’ll use your strong horticultural knowledge and practical skills to maintain gardens to an exceptionally high standard, from specialist pruning and plant care to mowing, strimming and hedge cutting.
Based at our Broomhill site, you’ll travel daily to client gardens in a company vehicle, working both independently and as part of a small team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced gardener who takes pride in their work and has a genuine passion for plants.
What you'll do:
- Care for gardens featuring herbaceous perennials, grasses, roses, climbers, and shrubs, hedging and lawns.
- Apply expert horticultural practices and specific pruning techniques.
- Execute high-standard mowing, strimming, hedge cutting, and garden maintenance.
- Drive a company vehicle daily from our Broomhill base to client sites.
What you'll need:
- Strong, wide-ranging knowledge of plants and their care.
- Excellent practical skills and experience using garden machinery.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Pesticide spraying certificate (desirable).

The Practical Details:
Contract Type: Permanent – Full time - 40 hours per week (two part time roles would also be considered)
Location: Stewarts Landscaping, God's Blessing Lane, Broomhill, Nr. Wimborne, BH21 7DF.
