  • Ensure financial information is accurate, timely and supports effective business decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting and operational efficiency.
  • Build positive working relationships with colleagues across the business, providing financial information and support where needed.
  • Work collaboratively within the Finance Team, providing cover across different functions, including purchase ledger support when required.
  • Assist with a variety of ad hoc finance tasks as the needs of the business evolve.

What You'll Need:

We're looking for someone who combines strong technical finance skills with a positive, team-focused attitude.

You'll have:

  • Previous experience in a similar Management Accounts Assistant or management accounts role (essential).
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial information.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Excel and other finance systems such as Xero.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive, adaptable approach and the confidence to work with colleagues across all areas of the business.
  • A genuine team-player mindset with a willingness to support others.

Nice to Have:

While not essential, we'd love to hear from you if you also have:

  • Experience working in a multi-site or retail business.
  • Knowledge of purchase ledger processes.
  • Experience suggesting or implementing improvements to finance processes or reporting.
