Native British Wildflowers Patio Pots Mix Seeds

Short description

Our Native British Wildflowers range has been developed from research conducted by Butterfly Conservation, BBKA, RSPB and the Woodland Trust.

 

A specially developed, exclusive mix for patio pots and containers. A great way to get wildflowers into an urban garden, courtyard or balcony with over 20 species including marigold, poppy and yarrow.

Flowers late August-September. Height 30-40cm (12-16").

  1. Fill your chosen container with either compost or a mixture of topsoil and compost, then thinly scatter your seed on top. Do not bury the seed too deep as it may hinder germination.
  2. Water well and keep moist.
  3. Plants may need thinning out if sown too thickly and can be moved to other containers.

 

  1. If growing in the open, clear the area of vegetation in advance and cultivate the top 5cm (2"). There is no need to dig too deep as doing so would also bring potentially unwanted weed seed to the surface.
  2. Rake over the area to create a fine tilth and sow the seeds lightly on the surface.
  3. Lightly rake or tread in the seed. Do not bury the seed too deep as it may hinder germination.
  4. Keep moist.

Local Delivery
Stewarts offer free delivery on all orders over £50 within our local area. For orders under £50 we charge £7.95. Below is a map showing our local area, if you are outside this then unfortunately, except for selected nationally deliverable products, we are unable to deliver to you but you are very welcome to use our click and collect service.


Once your order has been placed we will be in contact within three days to arrange a time and date that will be convenient for you to receive the delivery.

National Delivery (selected products)

For products featuring the national shipping symbol above, delivery to mainland UK addresses is £7.95 for orders totalling less than £50 and free of charge above this.

Non-mainland UK addresses will incur a charge of £15 under a basket total of £150 but delivery is free of charge above this amount.

Click and Collect
All Stewarts stores offer the option to reserve items, pay for them online, and collect them in store. You can see from a glance which stores have the item you are viewing by looking at this section:

Once your click and collect order is complete we will send you an email to confirm that the items are ready for collection. We do ask that items are collected within 7 days or a refund will be issued and the products returned to sale.

Gift Card Delivery
Stewarts gift cards can be delivered anywhere in the UK free of charge. Orders are posted at the end of the working day by Royal Mail First Class. Royal Mail have a next-day delivery aim for First Class letters and parcels, but delivery times are not guaranteed especially in busy periods.
