Accounts Apprentice – Stewarts Head Office

Stewarts is a family business now in its 8th Generation with not just plants at its heart. Our Accounts department is an important part of the business and helps make sure that our suppliers are paid on time and accurately.

This position is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, driven and passionate person with a keen interest in finance. In this apprenticeship we will work with you to develop into the role while undertaking an AAT Accountancy Level 3 apprenticeship through Bournemouth & Poole College which lasts between 12-18 months.

You will be working as part of a small team and among other tasks will help in matching, batching and coding invoices within the purchase ledger, compiling and processing supplier payment lists, reconciling supplier Statements, resolving queries internally and externally efficiently and with a friendly manner. Reporting and maintaining records on excel and other general office duties as required.

The position involves working Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with 1 hour unpaid break each day and release to Bournemouth & Poole College on required days.
