Afternoon Trolley/Customer Service Assistant - Stewarts Gardenlands (Christchurch)
We are looking for an afternoon Trolley/Customer Service Assistant for our Garden Centre in Christchurch.
Duties will include providing assistance to customers, enabling them to easily locate self-service trolleys and shopper baskets, assisting customers with larger heavier items and returning trolleys left in car park to the Garden Centre. You will also be assisting other departments in store when necessary.
Applicants should possess good communication skills and enjoy delivering a high level of customer service. Please note that some heavy lifting is involved.
The job involves working 25 hours per week as follows:
Mondays to Fridays - 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Including bank holidays in which the store is open to public.

Seasonal Garden Shop Assistant - Stewarts Gardenlands (Christchurch)
At Stewarts this is a busy time for us and we want to offer our customers the best service possible. Would you like to (or do you know anyone who would like to) work in a fast pace Garden Shop Department?
An opportunity has arisen at GardenLands to join our Garden Shop team on a seasonal basis from beginning of March until the end of June. Applicants must possess good interpersonal and team working skills and retailing experience and/or horticultural knowledge would be a distinct advantage (Please note that some heavy lifting may be involved)
The job involves working the following days/hours:
Monday to Friday and alternate weekends (including some bank holidays) with a day off during the week
39 Hours per week average

Seasonal Outdoor Plants Assistant - Stewarts Gardenlands (Christchurch)

An opportunity has arisen at GardenLands to join our Plant Team on a seasonal basis from beginning of March until the end of June, working with bulbs, seasonal and hardy plants. The successful applicant will ideally have a good horticultural knowledge, possess good communication and team working skills and enjoy delivering a high level of customer service. It's hard work but you are allowed to enjoy yourself and the days pass quickly (Please note that some heavy lifting may be involved).
