On Thursday late nights at Stewarts we like to entertain our customers with enjoyable music whilst they browse through the centre or sit having supper in our coffee shops. Throughout the year we have some great musicians booked at both centres, please see below for the schedule for Christchurch and Broomhill.

Christchurch Garden Centre






2 March – Peter Francis

Peter is a modern keyboard player, and plays live on his Korg keyboard. His music ranges from the 60/70s to modern day.

9 March – Wendy Allen

Wendy is a talented saxophonist who plays jazz, blues, pop, soul and contemporary smooth jazz and groove.

16 March – Kev Stockley

Solo finger style guitar incorporating percussion techniques into the song arrangements. Kev plays a range of popular songs from various genres including Motown, Jazz, Pop and Rock as well as playing his own compositions.

23 March – Daren Mayo

His sets combine a vast repertoire of well loved songs played in his own style with original songs, all featuring his rhythmic guitar work and soulful voice.

30 March – Pete Papworth

A keyboard pianist covering old hits like Van Morisson and popular songs from well-known soundtracks.

6 April – The Land Girls

The Land Girls are an established 1940’s style duo, singing songs from the Andrews Sisters through to Gracie Fields and Vera Lynn with a lot in between!

13 April – Mike Botterill

Mike Botterill plays unaccompanied gentle, melodic music, on a nylon strung guitar. His repertoire includes much loved standards, Bossa novas and tunes that bring back fond memories.

20 April – Scarlet Swing

Scarlet Swing are a vintage inspired vocal harmony duo. Inspired by the tight harmonies from this era, they enjoy performing electro-swing as well.

27 April – Lucas Raye

Lucas is a professional singer and guitarist who plays with a state of the art loop station which helps him create a modern one man band sound. Lucas plays a wide range of material covering popular tracks from the early 50s onwards.

4 May – Alex Bett

Alex plays a mix of jazz and pop standards from the likes of Sinatra, The Beatles, Stevie Wonder to name just a few on his classical guitar. This will provide a gentle and enjoyable background to your evening meal.

11 May – Ian Close

Ian is an experienced saxophonist and plays all different styles of music from jazz, blues, musical theatre, to soca, calypso and reggae!

18 May – Don Miller

A local guitarist covering all the classics.

25 May – Jon Cotton

A mix of Pop/Rock, Latin, Caribbean & Soul, 50’s and Modern songs give Jon’s up-tempo acoustic performance a quality that can’t be missed!





























 

Broomhill Garden Centre

9 March – Simon Woodley

Simon is a classically trained pianist with over 12 years experience. His repertoire holds tunes from many different genres including the shows, jazz standards and lyric classics. Music to enjoy whilst you dine!

16 March – Nigel Revill

Performing live without backing tracks and covering all tastes, I put my own stamp on a huge range of songs from the 60’s to present day.

23 March – Mike Botterill

30 March – Graham Bennett

Pianist and vocalist performing an eclectic mix of material including modern and contemporary jazz, Latin American, Blues, and standards from the American song book.

6 April – Mark Pitman

An experienced saxophonist playing live to high quality backing tracks, Mark Pitman will be performing a collection of modern and classic, smooth background music to create a relaxed atmosphere.

13 April – Richard Pearce

Richard is a professional musician, working as a keyboard and bass player. He plays a wide selection of music, including standards, Latin and easy-listening.

20 April – Sarah Bolter

At Stewarts Sarah performs a jazz set on saxophone or a more easy listening set on flute.

27 April – Land Girls

4 May – Andrew Cannon

Andrew’s favourite singers include Nat Cole, Johnny Cash, Sinatra, Elvis and Dean Martin. You’ll hear all of them, and more accompanied by Andrew’s swing and jazz piano playing.

11 May – Terry Cheeseman

Classical/Acoustic guitarist, playing a mixture of light classical and popular songs, occasionally accompanied by Andy Graham on bass guitar to produce the ideal balance of dining music!

18 May – Graham Bennett

Pianist and vocalist performing an eclectic mix of material including modern and contemporary jazz, Latin American, Blues, and standards from the American song book.

25 May – David Jones

At 76 years young, David is an experienced musician playing light, easy listening background music with the likes of Big Band, Showtime, Latin, Dancehall, Bee Gees, Carpenters, Adele and Elvis.
